Finishing our basement and will have porcelain tile on the concrete floor
that will have carpet up to it. How would the group recommend this
transition?

The carpet men do use a rubber type of molding that is nail on to concrete
and fits over the tile...Like an astracal......or mushroom shape.
Wood can work too like a molding and you would have to predrill achors in
the concrete and attach stainless trim screws/plugs/
not easy.........trim detail....
