Cob is an ancient building technique that combines clay, sand, and
straw to create beautiful and lasting structures. Participants will
learn the tools and methods used while constructing a cob structure
which complies with modern building standards.
Located near Richmond, KY, this code-approved passive solar structure
is comprised of three, highly insulative StrawBale walls and a south-
facing Cob wall to provide thermal mass.
