Jr. Estimator - Construction
Our client is a mid to large size construction company with over 30
years of experience. They are currently looking for a Jr. Estimator
with experience ideally in Civil and Industrial construction
projects. Their projects range for 500k to 50M.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
=95 Preparation of documents for administration
=95 Reading the documents of the tender (Quote, blueprints, etc.)
=95 Site visits
=95 Managing of subcontractors
=95 Calls to contractors and professionals on the project
=95 Check if the deadlines are respected
=95 Analysis of final bids
=95 Analysis of the cost estimate for the firm
=95 Analysis of the results versus submission
=95 Taking action to improve the result of submission
=95 Statistics of the results of submission
=95 When the contract award, preparation of tender documents for
construction project
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
=95 Diploma of collegial studies in Engineering Technology or relevant
equivalent
=95 2-3 or more years of direct experience in the field.
=95 Capacity to read and interpret mechanical, electrical and
architectural drawings
=95 Service oriented and a team player
=95 Bilingual English and French, written and spoken
=95 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent
interpersonal, organization and communication skills

=95 Analyse finale des soumissions
=95 Analyse de l'estimation des co=FBts de la compagnie
=95 Analyse des r=E9sultats versus la soumission
=95 Prise d'actions pour am=E9liorer le r=E9sultat de soumission
=95 Statistiques des r=E9sultats de soumission
=95 Lors de l'adjudication du contrat, pr=E9paration des documents de
soumission pour la construction de projet
QUALIT=C9S ET COMP=C9TENCES ESSENTIELLES:
=95 D.E.S. (ou =E9quivalent)
=95 Minimum 2-3 ans d'exp=E9rience
=95 Bonne connaissance en lecture et interpr=E9tation des plans
m=E9caniques, =E9lectriques et architecturaux
=95 =CAtre orient=E9 vers le service =E0 la client=E8le et le travail d=92=
=E9quipe
=95 Bilingue (fran=E7ais anglais), tant =E0 l=92oral qu=92=E0 l=92=E9crit
