How about a bulb that lasts a lifetime?!! I think I'd invest in that!

That's easy!
"Long life" incandescent bulbs use a little trick- but don't go as far
as possible.

Light bulbs will last forever if you dim them down until they barely
glow red at all. When was the last time you had an electric heater
burned out?
All the way off is better yet!

Electricity is the main cost of lighting! Forget the bulb and go for
efficency.
