Damn, if every contractor I worked with this year put a sign up in front
of my house when he was done working it would look like Disneyland out
there.

Throw the sign out - your contractor had no business putting it up.

I did not read that the sign was put up till after he finished.
I assumed you were complaining that it was up while he was still working
there.

Take the Damn sign down, and be done with it...
