DEFINITION OF A UNION.

Sure, I can do that. It's a bunch of sheep being led
by another bunch of blood suckers who love to call
strikes where the sheep lose work and starve but of
course the officials get paid every day regardless.
Most of the strikes take so long to end that you never
make back what you lost.

Example. Back in 1952 (yeah, I'm that old. An aside,
we were newly married and she died just last Saturday
after 56 yrs.) I was a union carpenter. The SOB's made
us go on strike because we were only offered 3 cents an
hour more. I didn't have a pot to piss in or a window
to throw it out but I endured 8 weeks of that BS. So
what did we settle for? Two and one half cents.. We
lost a 1/2 cent plus 8 weeks wages. I have HATED
unions every since.

Sorry to hear about your loss, Glenn. 56 years is a pretty damn good
run - most marriages today last about...oh, right, they _don't_ last.
