The plan area of the roof is 44 x 52 due to the 2' overhangs. The
hypoteneuse of a 4-12 triangle is sqrt(4*4 + 12*12) = 12.649. So the
roof area is (12.649/12) times as big as the plan area. This makes
(12.649/12) * 44 * 52 = 2412 square feet.

However, if you are ordering 4' x 8' plywood, then you want to know a
little bit more. Assuming the ridge runs the 52' direction, each side
of the roof is 52' by 22 * (12.649/12) = 52' by 23.19'. So you'll
need 6 rows of plywood on each side (23.19 / 4, rounded up). Each row
will require 6.5 sheets (52/8, rounded up to nearest half). So you'll
need 2 * 6 * 6.5 = 78 sheets.

Thats guys. I slept through my math classes in school. Now I pay the
price.

Ridge line will run the 40 feet
