Safe. You can touch it, feel it, nobody could steal it and it is very
unlikely that it will deppreciate !
As the saying goes "they aren't making any more of it" which proves to
be more true than ever.
“A man complained that [on] his way home to dinner he had every day to
pass through that long field of his neighbor’s. I advised him to buy
it, and it would never seem long again.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson
“The best investment on earth is earth.”
Louis Glickman
“It is a comfortable feeling to know that you stand on your own
ground. Land is about the only think that can’t fly away.”
Anthony Trollope
“Ninety percent of all millionaires become so through owning real
estate.”
Andrew Carnegie
“The major fortunes in America have been made in land.”
John D. Rockefeller
Land is a good investment, as long as the world population expands.
Another 60 yrs or so, and that will change. 10 bil is about it, after that,
the world population will decline, how much is up in the air. A declining
population puts downward pressure on housing/real estate and upward pressure
wages/labor. Certain areas always see increases in population, till the
balance is reached, cost vs. benefit.
Kids born today will retire in a completely different world, with new
rules. White Europeans have a birth rate of 1.8, Muslim Europeans have 8.1
birth rate. Not much different in the US. New world, new rules.

No one can steal it? Tell that to the folks in Zimbabwe, Cuba, and a thousand
other places.
