JOB PROFILE:
AS MECHANICAL ENGINEER (INDIA)
=B7 Erection of A/c Plants ( 2 x 100TR & 1 x 50TR)
=B7 Installation and maintenance of AHU's & FCU's.
=B7 Installation and Maintenance of Hot water boilers, Steam boilers and
pumps.
=B7 Part of a design team for execution of all the Plumbing and HVAC
works.
=B7 Coordination for all the Mechanical works execution at site.
AS PROJECT ENGINEER (UAE)
=B7 Going through the drawings from the consultants / clients for
quotations.
=B7 Evaluation of the tender quantities.
=B7 Evaluating the cost in coordination with the intermediate head.
=B7 To issue the enquiries to all the vendors of specified and
recommended suppliers as per the tender.
=B7 Preparing the schedule of Equipment and cost of the project.
=B7 Checking the submittals received from the supplier.

AS MEP ENGINEER
The project is a 5 Star hotel on Turnkey Basis by our Abu-Dhabi Based
Company in a joint venture with Investors from Sudan and Syria in
Khartoum the capital city of Sudan.
The Entire basic MEP Design was done in coordination Abu-Dhabi based
consultant (M/s APG consultants).
=B7 Undersigned was put in charge of Execution and Redesign technically
any areas in coordination with Civil and Architectural Departments,
Also there were changes in the initial proposed layouts and these
areas needed to be redesigned completely.
=B7 The Entire works had to be studied application as per site
conditions, Coordination with Architects, Contractors and Owners for
their inputs.
=B7 Preparation of as Built Drawings, Preparation of Handover
Documentation (Manuals, Commissioning reports etc).
=B7 Reporting to Finance and Project management in Abu Dhabi and
onsite. Certification of Quality and Quantities for the works
executing.
=B7 Negotiating and finalizing Subcontractors for execution of jobs.
=B7 Conducting regular meetings with sub contractors and all related
departments to meet the dates committed.
The partial list of works that undersigned needed to execute as a part
of day to day activities were
=B7 Co ordination with Civil, Architecture for all the MEP related
works.
=B7 Air conditioning (4 Chillers x 400 Tr, 21 AHU's,3 FAHUs, 336 FCU's):
Chillers installation and Commissioning, Chilled Water Piping (Design
& Execution), Chilled water Pumps, Cooling Tower Installation with
Dosing Pumps , Condenser water Pumps, Installation & Commissioning of
all the CW AHU & CW FCU's, Design and Execution of Ducting System
which include Cooling , Return Air , Extract, Fresh Air.
=B7 Fire fighting System included : Partial Redesign and execution of
Firefighting system which included but was not limited to ,
Installation and Commissioning of Sprinkler system, Fire Hose
Cabinets, Pumps, Fire Protection Systems included Smoke detectors,
Fire alarm panels and Sensors and commissioning for all the above.
=B7 Security System: Installation of CCTV system completely with access
control.
=B7 Plumbing: Scope of work included Water supply, Storm Water Piping
and Drainage Piping. Works was executed with PPR and UPVC pipes.
Plumbing works also included all sanitary fittings and submersible
pumps installation.
=B7 Generator (3 Generators each of 1500 KVA capacity): Coordination
with Supplier located in Europe, Installation, Testing and
Commissioning (Synchronizing) along with trouble shooting.
=B7 Electrical & Low Voltage: This included the entire coordination
and execution of low voltage electrical Systems for the entire
building. This also included SMATV, Telephone and Data works.
=B7 Works in Addition to standard MEP works: This included execution in
coordination with related agencies viz. Swimming Pool and pool plant
room, Jacuzzi and steam rooms, Health Club equipments, Kitchen and
Laundry equipments with Softener plant and Boilers.
