Thanks to corrupt democrats and republicans our nation has become one
governed by fascism. In the context of the profession of architecture the
private sector associations like the American Institute of Architects
actually write laws, pay politicians to pass them and viola! nobody can work
designing or drafting without being a criminal or subjecting themselves to
involuntary servitude in the hopes that they might be able to get a license.
The laws now require people who wish to do this type of work to indenture
themselves to a licensed fascist. The licensed fascist has no obligation to
hire, no obligation to assign the indentured servant to any job assignment
and no obligation to acknowledge any hours of labor the servant has provided
so as to meet the fascist requirements of the law.
Should architects be licensed? What purpose does licensing designers and
drafters really serve?
Does fascism really help protect the safety, health and welfare of the
public? Aren't any errors, ommissions or any other corrupt acts settled in
the courts anyway?

Ignoring the all-too-apparent trolling attempt and making the (probably
very rash) assumption there was at least a modicum of seriousness to
the question, I'll simply ask in return--"Should we by the same logic
not license medical practioners or commercial airline pilots, either?"
As for the latter question, the intent is to prevent (or at least
minimize since it obvious that one can never reach perfection) the
number of such incidents.

Its not a trolling venture at all. Its a serious issue because fascism has
become the form of government that is prevalent throughout our nation. Do we
want a nation of fascists who are going to continue to determine arbitrarily
who can and who can not work without becoming subjected to criminal
prosecution simply on the basis of a phoney claim that licensing does this
or does that? Where is the proof? There is none because the claim is a lie.
As for your questions regrading licensing others such as medical
practitioners or commercial airline pilots the question is well taken and
the answer is "of course" there should be some type of licensing which would
be better stated as an objective as genuine credible credentialing processes
rather than the arbitrary phoney fascist bullsh!t that fascists like the AIA
and corrupt politicians have drafted into law.
There is no reason an architect must be licensed. None whatsoever. Licensing
architects and interior designers is nothing more than fascism. I witnessed
this in Wisconsin where I live and have been victimized by it myself.
For example, the U.S. government relocated thousands of Laoations in
Wisconsin as a "favor" to pay them back for helping the jew bankers that
started the Viet Nam war murder and assasinate tens of thousands of
civilians who did not want to do business with jews bankers. We are told
they were relocated here in Wisconsin because the geography is similar to
their homeland and obviously their role as murdering assasines is not
discussed. The Laotian men could not find jobs because they were illiterate
and have no skills (not to mention racism) and the Laotian women started
little businesses painting fingernails. Perhaps you recall the trend? Ever
wonder why those businesses aren't around anymore?
As much as I despise the Laoations for what they did in Viet Nam the fat
cunt "hair stylists" bought and paid for politicians to make laws to protect
their licensed businesses and immediately outlawed painting finger nails
because it was "dangerous" and had to be licensed to make sure the health of
the person's who finger nails were being painted were "protected." Poof! No
more businesses.
As for architects they have become nothing more than designers and drafters
who do nothing hands-on with any life safety concerns other than look up the
codes in books and make sure the drawings conform to specifications. Every
mistake, error, or ommission or anything related to an corrupt business
practice is always settled in court anyway and the claim about "less" is a
lie that has not ever been substantiated.. Licensing architects does nothing
except determine who can and who can not work at their chosen line of work.
A maverick attorney has become the president of the Wisconsin State B.A.R.
and he and others are now involved in attempting to revise the law that
requires lawyers from having to take and pass a B.A.R. exam. They know this
is bullsh!t and so do I.
I support univeristy degree programs followed by rigorous testing followed
by annual coursework or specialized requirements that are genuinely focused
on credentialed credibility. Not any of this horsh!t that grandfathered all
the existing architects except those like me stuck at the wrong point in
time with one exam to go that now have to beg an employer for a job and then
beg the employer for a job assignment to get credits the law requires for
licensing.
Freedom and liberty to work is my objective and is supposed to be my
constitutionally guaranteed right which also by law forbids involuntary
servitude. Other people who love freedom and liberty must stand against the
fascist pigs who have taken control of our nation and its to them I
addressed this news article.

Why didn't you just say you were pissed about this in the first place
and spare us the rest of your anarchistic, racist drivel?

I know I should ignore crazy clintonG but after he wrote this...

Not exactly... we voted these people into office. We (and that includes you
Clinton) allowed this to happen.

Not exactly.... a licensed structural engineer can do all this as well.

Since architects specify and design building structures that human beings
use, licensing gives at least some assurance that such person is competent
and capable of designing a practical, usable and safe structure. Frank
Lloyd Wright wasn't licensed. His designs looked great, but one home was
described by a structural engineer as "not safe from the day it was built"

So, after your house fall down on you and kills half your family, just go to
the courts and settle up?
