thanks for all the imput i have called a more experienced tech other than
myself to figure out this problem

The unit probably is designed to be wired only to the indoor unit but
was powered to the outdoor unit causing the compressor to run
permanently even when the unit was turned off indoors.

Something definitely wrong, if it froze both the condensor
and the evaporator. Call for help.
