OH, BTW - what the guy actually meant when he said 'he would
check with the factory' was 'He'll ask his boss or a co-worker WTF he
thinks might be wrong'.

Checking with others is a sign of humility. A trait which I'm very pleased
to posess.

Yeah, but checking with others on EVERY call makes you a moron!

"Checking" with others is a sign of INTELLIGENCE. When one doesn't know
the correct
answer, then the correct answer _IS_ " I don't know, however I will find out
and get back to you."

When humility is what you get from asking,,, It's because you're asking
about knowledge
you should have already possessed and should have already been well grounded
in.
(i.e. fundamentals). Or,, you have misled those around you, allowing them to
believe
that you possessed a greater skill level then you actually have. There's
your humility.

...and this type of "humility" you are "very pleased to posses"?

Go fall on your sword somewhere else you faker!

Somewhere it can provide you with the self-esteem that you crave, yet,
are too lazy to acquire even after being shown the way how.

Consider yourself thrown out of the Temple, right along
with all the money changers.
