Sounds like you may have found a leak.

Suggest tighten the shit outa that valve cap there where you found the oil
and then call in a tech to check /adjust refrigerant charge.

Really no need to evacuate unless the system needs opened for brazing or
moisture was introduced due to it's running clear out of gas.

suggest you try removing a few shraders where the moron before you
tightened the shit out of the shrader and stripped the threads on it.

If the shrader core is leaking, replace the damn thing instead of
creating bigger problems by over tightening it.
