Quoting a job with 2-1/8 inch copper tubing. One stick of 20 feet was quoted
@ $ 240.40
Need 20 pieces plus fittings and liquid lines, $5860 just in copper for 400
feet of copper!

Amazing, I quoted the whole job two years ago for $6500 installed, now that
won't even cover the copper and brackets.

If you bought any copper lately let me know what you paid before I wonder
out for more quotes.

20 foot refrigeration copper prices
2- 1/8 $ 241.60 (a Tee is $13)
1- 5/8 153.41
1- 3/8 119.76
7/8 61.66
5/8 39.29

Ps, Paul, just received your email, will get back with you tomorrow, I've
got to get these quotes out.

Later all
Rich

If it's about your plot to invade Canada for our beer and large-breasted
women, forget about it!
We've posted non-English speaking border-crossing guards at all locations
to comply with non-white hiring quotas, and they'll slow you down for
hours, if not days!
Our beer and women are safe for now!

It's probably not so much that copper is getting dearer as that the
dollar is cheapening. You can't throw a trillion dollars out in the
desert to burn in the sun and expect them to maintain their value.

Why gasoline has gone up..

Sadly, and with the mass exportation of manufacturing capacity this leaves
us precious little in the way of exported goods to trade for to get those
dollars back.
