Received flyer on Eden PURE Quartz Infrared Portable Heater with many
claims of efficacy. Any feedback of this product would be
appreciated.

They use electric, so anyone who buys one could save money IF they're
lowering the heat in the rest of the building, or IF they have to keep the
heat higher because a certain room isn't warm enough, AND their current
energy source costs them roughly the same per btu as electric.

Before someone buys one, they need to do the math. How much is the initial
cost of the heater? How much colder will they keep the rest of the building?
How many btus are they saving? What is the cost of their current energy
source? What is their current electric cost?

Anyone considering one of these should go to the Penn State Energy
Calculator and figure it out. http://energy.cas.psu.edu/energyselector/
