Common guys have you ever read the gauge standing on your head
> Outside heat pump unit is a Lennox HP26. No colling the other day.

> All observations at outside unit.
> Suction side pressure is 150 psi all the time, high side is always 0
> psi. Even after unit has been off for a day, pressure does not
> equalize. Even when unit is on, compressor getting hot, pressures do
> not change. Sounds like compressor makes a hum sound every 5 minutes,
> like its trying to start, and the current to the compressor rises for
> that short time.

> Also I don't really see any current going into the compressor with a
> clamp on ammeter except for that 2 second time period, every 5 minutes
> or so, even though the compressor is getting hot (strange).

> Tried going to heat cycle to switch reversing valve, pressures stay
> the same, and nothing else changes.
> Oil is all over bottom of unit and inside fittings near top of all
> tubing, valves, etc inside unit. Oil is not just on bottom of unit.
