Another update just for fun. See my icicle heat pump, don't you wish
you had a brand new unit like me! What a great investment.

"After a professional installation,"
By who ? Merely calling yourself an HVAC company or tech does
not make you a 'professional'.
" I paid $100.00 to the installing engineer to come to my house"
You did not get any 'installing engineer' to ceom to you
house. This I know because :
A ) Engineers don't install systems, they design them. Droids
install them.
B ) They don't come to your house for $ 100. Droids do.
" I've called the corporate offices of Carrier and Payne, they lead me
to a few locale businesses that have certified technicians on staff.
Each one of those guys outright refused to come see my problem because
of, what they call a gross mismatch of systems."
And you choose to disbelieve them based on ...what ? Or,
maybe you think they have some sort of obligation to come out to your
house and 'make it work', even though they didnt' sell it or install
it ?
"My research is leading me to believe is a design flaw in the unit"
You posts and website lead us to believe that you don't have a
clue, and are utterly incapable of diagnosing a 'design flaw in the
unit'.

??? What kind of question is that? Payne is the company that told me
to go to the locale company and get help, at that time, they told me
the system was missed matched. Why would I not belive them? My point
is that it was impossable (for me) to get a good help on this
problem. I did'nt just make one phone call and talk to one "drone" as
you would say. I spent a year calling and asking people all over the
"USA", I have documents to prove it. ???

Sorry Dude, I AM and engineer and with all the reading and research
I've done, I can saftly say, I know this unit inside and out and could
install one from scratch with my eyes closed. Without affending
anyone, I ran across too many HAVC guys that will not give out
information in fear someone may figure out they can do the job
themselves. I'm talking about the "drones" (as you call them), not
the engineer/designer of the system.
My diagnostics is a simple "compare" technique. The York unit I had
for 14 years was quiet and froze up maybe 2 times a winter. This unit
is LOUD and frozen more times then not. Does that sound like a good
design to you?
Yes, let's get past the warrenty company giving me crap, I know that
allready. I will say that a few of the guys that came out to help
told me this was a very good system overall. (figure that out.......)
BUBBA -
I belive you are right, I cannot find a professional to help me. I
absolutly can not! I've been trying for more then a year. Don't send
me one though, I'll just get charged for them to come out and tell me
the system is normal. :-)
Merry Christmas to both of you! My website is just for fun now, I
gave up and choose to live with the problem until I sell this house.

And of course *then* you will be forced to disclose this noise.
BTW Payne is a subsidiary of Carrier or United Technologies
or whatever they're calling themselves these days.

Then , seeing as I'm sure ( if your statement about what they
said is correct ) they have told you that you need to REPLACE the unit
( either indoor, outdoor, or both ), in order to FIX the "gross
mismatch".

It sounds like empirical inference from a layman ( not
'engineering knowledge' ) to me. You DO know the diff, right ?
