Most common thermostat setting homer 06-27-2007

62° to 80° has been the spread...as I tell ALL of my customers that ask.
Where ever you find it comfortable for you and you housemate. I REMAIN
NEUTRAL

        Well, that pretty much rules out you being a condensing
unit ....

the us government recommends a cooling setpoint of 78F.

        It has been revised to 77.5, to compensate for global warming.
