Hint - talk about something you know about.
This BOILER uses refractory ceramic fiber (insulation)
which are cancerous. Peerless calls it "blanket seal".
Its used to seal the combustion chamber to the flue
collector and also seals the base pan and most times it insulates the
boiler shell.
And I agree he needs a tech who is familiar with boilers
and not a plumber.
