NOTICE:

Just put in a CA storage refrigeration system.
Pulled the cap off the refrigerant line, prepared for brazing. Looked inside
the tubing and its plugged solid.

Found the factor put TWO plugs in the end! The other was shoved inside the
tubing.

So, is this a 'one time' incident or is this a potential major problem of
Cero (spelling) having a machine breakdown.

This could have really caused us major problems.
Be careful all those who are piping to check if you have a clear pipe.

ive seen this before, as well .

while back , went on a call , new apartments , we put in the furnaces and gas
piping ,
first tenant in this unit , called cuz she was cold , furnace was underfiring,

checked fuel pressure , would build slowly until the valve would open and
then the bottom would fall out ,
suspected a bad regulator on the gas meter , called the gas co,
they come and check it , nothing wrong ,
unhook the gas pipe from the meter and then from inside the apartment
and let it have it with my co2 bottle
freakin sandwich bad pops out ,
guess someone ate their lunch and then put the bag inside the 1" pipe
and it got installed , without anyone catching it.
pressure test never would have caught this one
question remains , was someone being funny or malicious , or
was it just pure dumb luck , and someone stuffed it in there without realizing
what it would do ?

They stuck it in there to keep critters out, before it was hooked up?
