Your EXISITING LPCO is working just fine.

My bad, I apologise. Today is the first time I have heard the term
LPCO, thought it was a licensed professional contractor or something,
which is on the way.

Ah - you are taking my advice !
This is a good thing, and will profit you :-)
Steve's intent in the term LPCO was 'Low Pressure Cut Out',
which is a control you already have, the control which is turning the
machine off, and which is working correctly :-)
I thought you were saying you had ordered a control to add to
the machine. My bad. Sorry.

No, using my common sense, I turned it off and called the LPCO hours
ago. Long before you kindly displayed your vast knowledge and humility
in your answerers to my questions.

Actually Paul was correct about my response.... LPCO = Low Pressure Cut Off.
Yes that particular safety device is working and protecting the compressor.
The questions I should be asking if I were you are....
Why is the compressor short cycling on the LPCO??
Are the coils clean??
Is the blower working correctly??
Are the filters clean??
What is the subcooling??
What is the superheat??
What is the ambient temp??
What is the RA temp??
What kind of history does the unit have??
You obviously don't have a clue about the unit, how it operates, and why it
operates that way. Calling a *competent* HVAC tech is a good thing.
