One thing about the auto industry baffles me--nearly everyone agrees
that Rick Wagoner is to GM what a broken compass is to a lost hiker, but
not much mention of Bob Nardelli at Chrysler. It wasn't that long ago
that he was rewarded with about $200 Million for getting FIRED from Home
Depot after nearly running it into the ground. That sounds like a pretty
impressive thing to have on a resume. No wonder Chrysler snatched him
up.
