I just talked to the tenant in the house. He showed me where the
outside ac unit was freezing. It's at the valve on the end of the
insulated tubing going to the outside compressor unit.
When it freezes, about every few days, the compressor is still
running, but the air handler is not running.
FWI: The syste3m is 9 years old, and ia a Goodman, Janitrol CKT 30-
A3208
Any help is appreciated.

Spend the money on a competent tech to come out and fix it.

Finding a "competent" tech is the problem around here. I would gladly
pay one to repair the system. No one I know can recomend one, so I'm
trying to diagnose it myself and fix the problem. I can replace parts
as well as most other people, IF I knew what parts to replace. I don't
mind paying for a persons knowledge, and skill, when they fix the
problem.[[
You should feel fortunate if you have a competent repair person to
call for problems.

I feel fortunate that I AM one :-)

Keep trying different companies until you find a good one,
then stay with them. Hint - large <> better.

Hint - the problem you describe is a simple one to diagnose
and repair.

Hint - I'm not about to do it over the internet for free. If
you want advice, email me and we can discuss your contribution to my
Paypal account.

Sorry dude. I call "BULLSHIT"!
If you don't have a tech in your area that can diagnose something that
simple then you are either living in a mentally deficient colony or
somewhere in Africa with the pigmies.
You are just a tight ass and want to fix it cheap.
Call stormy. He'll break it for free.
