The existing system may not be undersized or at fault, as there could be
multiple installation errors causing all of the problems!
Janitrol units were not junk if the installation was done properly, if
not, all units will have performance failures.
Have a manual J & manual D done. Make sure the ductwork & airflow are on
target! Good Luck.

Janitrol can't seem to make a unit with a properly sealed blower
compartment door.
No matter how well it's installed, air whistles through the poorly mounted
blower door.
Plus they're flimsy all around.Plus they used the same exchangers as the
Keeprites, with the popping rings......other than that, they're great.....

The popping rings are due to an incorrect "high" temp rise.
Yeah, I know all about the recall, BUT...

I have yet to find one with popped rings that was operating with-in
specifications.
