To the bin with your policy ? Or to your solicitor's office ?
Or perhaps to the chiropractor, seeing as you have been thoroughly
bent over by Servowarm ? Something they are quite skilled at, BTW.

"Or perhaps to the chiropractor, seeing as you have been thoroughly
bent over by Servowarm ?"

LOL!

- but sadly true :-(

I have been had-over, but the aim is to find out for how long. Do you know
for sure when this kit was discontinued?

TIA...

Is it currently broken, and was it covered under their policy
when it broke, is the question ?

        What year is it ?

Yes it's currently broken - last worked Monday October 29, 2007.

Annual parts, labour, emergency cover and servicing Policy renewed early Oct
07.

Insurer states the parts are no longer available so is terminating policy.

This is in the small print and not in dispute, but what is annoying is they
should not provide cover on kit for which they can no longer source parts -
they have a duty of care to be reasonable about taking money in such
circumstances - IMHO, they should state "no kit over 15 yrs old" covered -
but no such stipulation is documented.

I would have replaced the kit if I had known it was obsolete and not wasted
my money on a worthless cover policy!

Quite a scam they have going there. They offer their
'insurance', and keep collecting until you make a claim, then cancel
it without servicing the claim, while keeping any previous years
premiums.

        Yep..

BTW, I was having you on about the date - I have no idea.
Sorry, mate :-)
