        Squirrel would have worked better. It's a squirrel cage
blower, after all.

Get a plexiglass blower, then you can use an optical mouse.

Anhow, it sounds like the orifice may be clogged, or the holes on the gas
burner. A good service tech should be able to fix it easy enough.

Luckily, the wheel runs well on electricity, so it wasn't necessary to
replace the mouse - I really don't like putting animals to work.
Otherwise, though, I think I would have opted for a hamster.

Hamsters are nocturnal, so you'd only be able to run it at night.
Better go with electricity.
