What sort of warranty (parts and labor) am I likely to get for the
following natural gas furnaces:
Frigidaire (unknown model) two stage, variable speed, 90,000 BTU
Ruud - UGFD-07EMCKS - 75,000 BTU
Lennox - G61 MPV - 70,000 BTU (most likely G61MPV-36B-070 or 071)
The lennox seems to have something more sophisticated than a simple
single or 2-speed AC motor. Also I think it's specified as 10-year
parts warranty.
The Ruud claims a stainless-steel heat exchanger and ECM blower motor.
Frigidaire seems to have 8-year (or 10-year?) parts warranty (no
mention of labor?)
Would it be correct to assume that any warranty coverage for labor
would only be offered by the installer, and not the furnace
manufacturer?
