fan coil efficiency

Hi to all.

I have a question that seems simple to me but I can't find an
answer...which is the mean efficiency of a fan coil system?
For example: if I need a power of 1 kW for a room how much power I have
to send in the fan coil with water? so....How much energy is wasted by
this system?
