>Uh, it was the HVAC company that set it up this way.
Yep. And they set it up correctly.
>...sorry man, heat pump
>is no longer putting out heat,
Yes it is. You don't know how to measure it properly to
understand it.
> it is a waste of electricity.
Nope.
> I know you
>want to think that all hvac techs know what they are doing...but it just
>aint so.
What you don't know is that I worked on heat pumps ( and lots
of other HVAC/R ) for 15 years, plus owning several, including one
now, and I know how they work, plus I hold 5 Statewide Masters
licenses in the trade, whereas you don't.
Now, if you want to argue the point - go argue it somewhere
else, because NONE I repeat NONE of the techs here ( and most of the
regulars are ), with 10 - 20 - + years background each, agree with
you. Maybe you know more about heat pumps than all of us combined.
Good for you. Go ahead and argue against 200 + years of combined
experience here working on heat pumps, see how far it gets you.
Then again, if you did, you wouldn't be asking your question,
would you ?
