Stormy,
Remember to only use the IR point and shoot thing when you
have a non-critical 5-10+ degrees of measurement to play with.
The emissivity will be all over the place with everything except flat
black. http://www.electro-optical.com/bb_rad/emissivity/matlemisivty.htm
If it's under $300.00, it's fixed/non adjustable at 0.9.

Use your temp probe along with something like this
http://toolmonger.com/category/manufacturers/wilton/
for line temps.

Thanks. Very good reminder. I've got a temp probe for my VOM, that I can
tuck under the black wrap insulation.

Why my "daddy taught" me that if it's "sweat'n" back to the "pot" she's good
to go! ROFLMAO LOL

What was that statement I saw back some months ago here - ohh "beer can
cold!" LOL

I wonder if Telstra has come across a discharge gas cooled Tecumseh and is
willing to put his "hand on top" of it to see how cool it is. LOL
