need help with honewwell t6800D

Go to you pet store and buy a thermostat designed for that. To use a
regular thermostat you not only need a 24v supply but you're also going to
have to use a contactor (big relay) to energize the heating cable.

Maybe if you actually read the installer instructions?? If thats too
complicated for you, then you need to *PAY* somebody that knows WTF they are
doing.

*NOBODY* on here is going to hold your hand and give you "insert tab A into
slot B" instructions. Get over it.

We need to know more about the parts you have on hand, before we can be any
help.

But in general terms, you need to use the heating contacts within the
thermostat to control a suitable voltage and current. This will operate a
relay or contactor, which will control the power to the larger heating
device.
