Relayed from GF....

Howdy Steve,

Could you do me a big favor and post the following to the alt.hvac
newsgroup? The message is for Geoman....seems like the email address I have
for him and the phone number he gave me are no longer valid.....I'd post but
I'm having 'technical difficulties' at this end....

This is in response to his thread on controlling 15 ac units......

Hey Rich,

Saw your post in alt.hvac- Take a peek here:

I installed this system last month for a very good customer, 20 rooftop
package units with a LAN / web enabled touchscreen interface. When the
Tracker 12 touchscreen interface is first powered up, it automatically
finds all the unit controllers and devices on the network, establishes a
heating-cooling set point for each zone and cycles the units on. All you
have to do is watch. An added bonus, it does Demand Control Ventilation
(DCV) which is now code in Ca. The windows based software adds trending &
reporting features, but is not required for basic system control. The
software can be loaded on as many computers as you want and is very very
inexpensive.
The client loves it, they control zone temps & programming from their
office, 1500' from the units. Very reasonable pricing I thought. The
ZN517 unit controller works with all makes & models of ac equipment.

Technical requirements to install: the ability to run low voltage / twisted
pair wiring, be able to operate a screwdriver, and be able to wire a 5 wire
t-stat to an ac unit.....believe it or not, even stormin could install this
system.

I tried calling you but the phone number you gave me has been disconnected??
Get back to me & we can compare wholesale costs......my phone number still
works, call me.

Wow, I've dropped back a lot on this newsgroup, but now I must say, I
haven't seen GoFish's posts in a long time!

Noon, I'll drop you a line, and yes, my home phone was disconnected, I was
calling Bush everyday telling him how good of a job he's doing and
we think Hillary had our phone cut off!! (sorry Mike, LOL )) Seriously, I
we went all cell phones for the home and dropped our personal phone.
