most fields of engineering endeavor seem to have organized groups of
enthusiastic amateurs playing around in the field. Occasionally the
hobbyists come up with something worthy of professional note.
Sometimes the organization is only to the extant of a publication,
which lives off of serving as an advertising platform for parts-
sellers. And nothing wrong with that.

I don't see this in refrigeration.

Am I wrong?
