I have a Honeywell 8124 aquastat with an oil fired Burnham boiler and
Beckett burner all 6 years old.
Live on Long Island, boiler used for heat and hot water (goes to a storage
tank).
I just happened to look at the aquastat and found the hi at 165, lo at 160
and diff at 0.

I thought there was supposed to be a 20 degree separation between hi and lo

I remember my service guy for my old system told me 180-160 in winter and
140-120 in summer (for hot water only)

What should my summer/winter settings for hi, lo and DIFF be for this
aquastat?? I took a gander and set it to 170-150 with 15 diff.

Your input is greatly appreciated!
Thanks and happy New Year
Matt

The boiler is a Burnham V7 series

Generally, knowing the type of radiation you are using in your home
would be a wonderful bit of info to have to select the temp you would
need.................but Id go with 260 and 240. :-)

I'd go with 180/160.
