Seriously, it probably wouldn't cost $40 to have a pro come out and just
take a listen. Might be worth some peace of mind (and some peace and
quiet).

BTW - no PRO is going to 'come out and just take a listen'. A
PRO will either diagnose the system, or be somewhere else diagnosing a
system.
Now, granted, you or Stormy would 'just take a listen' for $
40 - but neither of you is a pro.

That's the going rate for a visit, sans any physical work, around here. IF
it's on the route, and not a special trip.

I can't help it if you don't charge enough. Too many folks go out of
business because they only charge the "going rate".
