I've got a 13+ year old Bosch sitting in my back yard waiting for a new
home, but it has the same problem.. I would come home and find it had been
running all day long or perhaps ~20 hours.. A little fiddling with the controls
would unstick it. In my case, we had a home warranty company come out and
replace all of the thermostats since there were no other parts they could
find faulty. After that, it would still stick once in a while and since
it was getting fairly old anyway, we replaced it with a new Miele after the
home warranty company refused to change out the timer (mechanical) and
wondered why I didn't want to renew their annual contract.. Go figure..
On a different note, we're VERY happy with out Miele unit which is a nice
step up from the Bosch (which was also good, but a bit old). Having 3 racks
is a great feature that I'd never give up in a second!
