You're right. It is a laugh..................YOU Im speaking of,
Schmooseme. I read your whole story and it was very funny. I cant
believe that you think YOU can install a new unit and it will all be
fine. You would think you would have learned by now but it appears
not. Blame it on Payne. Blame it on the engineers. Blame it on whoever
you want but what it really boils down to is you being a tight ass and
not getting it fixed right. The guys that wont come out to repair it
because of the "gross mis-match" should have given you a clue. They've
seen it before. So have I. If you mis-match a heat pump system you get
exactly what you got. A mis-matched noisy piece of shit that wont work
as it should. Payne may be toward the lower end of the scale but a
properly selected and properly installed Payne heat pump will run
quietly and efficiently for a long time. You get what you pay for and
thats about the best advice you'll get.
