Excellent! I like the chocolate-iced custard-filled Krispy Kremes.

We don't need no stinkin' gauges.

It was probably a return. Consumer Reports does not say Bosch is too bad.
Asko is much worse.

You probably got someone elses lemon. I bought a front loader Whirlpool
that was top rated. Everything was wrong with it including bad welding of
the base so it vibrated horribly. Sears replaced it. Repairman said he
would replace pump and re-weld the cabinet but I feel sorry for the poor
sucker that bought it. The replacement has been perfect. My guess is the
original was dropped big time.

I once got my brother's lemon. It was a '65 Pontiac Catalina
convertible, and my brother had had loads of trouble with it until
while it still had it's 2 year warranty, and then they refused to keep
"fixing" it. So when he went to Viet Nam, he gave it to me.

I'll tell you more about the problems maybe later, but I resolved
never to buy another Pontiac Catalina. Then when I needed another car
after mine was totaled, I was only able to look at 3 cars in the time
I had and the best was a Pontiac Catalina.

So I bought it. It was 2 years newer and the first 7 digits of the
car's serial number were the same as the prior car.

But I never had any trouble with it. Everything worked fine, and I
had it for more than 100,000 miles. I've probably forgotten some
small normal problems, but none of the things that were wrong with the
first car.

Mine wasn't assembled right.

It was in the transition years with AC and fresh air vents at the kick
pads. No air came out of the vents. Took off the covers and the
cables weren't connected to the air doors. Just hook them on and they
were fine.

The steering wheel was designed so it looked better upside down**, but
then it was actually mounted upside down. So the turn signals would
turn off with a 90 degree return to straight, instead of the normal
270 degrees. I could have rotated the wheel half way, but I liked how
it looked so I drilled a matching hole in it half way around, and kept
it upside down, but looking better than right side up.

**For one thing, the built in plastic grips on the wheel where at 10
and 2. If mounted as designed, they would have been at 8 and 4. Who
holds the wheel like that?

More problems with the car later.
