You dind't mention the fuel filter; is it clogged?
Definitely sounds like fuel starvation. Can you get gas to come
out of hte hose if you remove it at hte carb? If not, there's a
hint. Is gas comes out, then the carb is the next cluprit even
though you said you cleaned it up. Float stuck? Sunk? Jets
clogged?
