Hello:

How "critical" is it for the Cedar clapboards to be absolutely dry prior to
putting on
new Latex paint (oil primer is already on) ?

If they are a "bit" damp due to a recent rainfall, is that O.K., or must
they really be
100 % dry first ?

Thanks,
B.

I'd wait at least two days after the rain stopped.

Any moisture that is trapped in the wood will try to escape when the
surface is warm.
Paint acts as a vapor retarder.
The suggestion to wait two days is a good one.
