Hi. I have a Whirlpool electric cooking range. One of the coils (the
larger one heats too much or too little.
What could be the problem? Controller? or the coil itself?

If set to high, it should heat to it's full wattage capacity. If it does,
but acts flaky at lower settings, it's probably a bad control
