Here's a little trick I've used with much success. Right after sundown when
it's a little dark, shine one of those laser lights along the area you think
the leak is coming from. An assistant outside can spot it right away. It
also works in reverse shinning the laser from outside to an observer on the
inside.

What kind of a leak, air, water oil, ??, and where is the pipe, If it
is underground you have a breakthru, otherwise nothing of note.

I'm really at a loss for words, here.

What kind of container?
What kind of contents?
What kind of material is leaking?
From what kind of storage situation? Refrigerated? Pressurized?
Why is finding a leak important, in this example?
Please write your name and class room teacher at the top left of the page.
At present, your (below) work is D- quality for lack of information. Stay
after school and help clap erasers.

When you hear the assistant on the roof scream because he just took a
direct retina hit with a laser you know you found the spot. Rush outside
and see him, arms outreached, aimlessly walk off the roof edge. The thud
signifies the end of the show. Reenlist replacement assistant at this
time.
