Found a electrician for $50/hour. He cut 4 holes in the drywall to fish
the wire from ceiling to the wall, drilled through the top plate? then
tapped into a switched outlet. Took him a little over three hours
including putting together and mounting the fan. Parts were $25. Also
patched drywall. Home Depot quoted me $300 plus parts. Works like a
champ.
