Mfg's do that to throw busines to the local computer outlet and the
local techs.
Computer techs don't repair. what they do is use mfg's diagnostic
software to determine
what part or section is causing the problem and then they replace that
section. The catch is you have to be licensed by the mfg in order to
get the diagnostic software.
