GE Washer won't spin sweettate 10-09-2006

Model# WWSR3090T8WW

The washer will agitate and drain. It won't spin.

* Checked the lid switch and has continuity. Also, the agitation will
stop when lid is opened.

* Drain keeps running until timer setting pushed in ( off ).

* Belt in tack. I can spin the tub by pulling the belt and the
transmission is moving.

* No wierd or ( metal to metal ) sounds when agitating or spinning by
hand.

Is there another switch that stops the drain and engages the spinning?

What next?
