Can anyone who has in the last year installed a CPLT series Goodman
comment on their experience, the perceived robustness of the unit and
how quiet it is. Also did anyone install the variable speed handler
(AEPT series) with their unit and have any pros and cons about this
handler. THanks

we have a fellow over at alt.hvac that wants to try to run the alt.hvac
newsgroup and tell everyone to come over here when everybody will answer your
question either alt.hvac or alt.home.repair as you please. Ask away.

Its still a POS.
Do you really want to get a unit that currently, the motor costs more to
replace than the entire air handler?
