Don't forget Camp David, 1977. Egypt and Israel at (relative)peace with
each other since? Neither country has a really respectable human-rights
record, but what can you expect from the Middle East? Little george
doesn't know how to sit down with a room-full of adults and discuss
historic differences, so he put's on daddy's cowboy boots and says
"We're gonna get 'em." What a doofus. Like most dry drunks, he really
knows how to schmooze. Not much more. As a new president, he told the
world that suffering people were part of an "evil empire". Their
current leaders might be evil, but there are more good people caught in
the middle of power struggles. And why would george not be considered
"evil" for promoting torture? Ain't a christian act where I come from.
Difference between NK and SK good example. Palestinians another.
Bullies learn a lot from what they experience, and if they experience
only crime and violence, it becomes what they do.
Other day, the US had to release a suspected terrorist, high up in
Muqtadr's regime. Sunni muslim? Don't recall. Iraqi president (of
same sect)told US to release him, which they did. This was on ?CNN,
related by General somebody. Gen. said "We are guests in their county,
so we must do as they wish". Well, I'd have my bags packed.
