That hosts most of the web sites you've visted in the past 3 years.

Trolls like you, apparently.

Or mentally deranged people who derive their daily entertainment from
harassing other users on a Linux advocacy newsgroup.

I don't care what you use. I do care when people make baseless attacks
of my platform of choice.

Good luck finding this mythical community.

Look, if you don't know how to even follow the protocols of the
FORUM you infest. that being all of usenet, then you cannot assess any
group participant for making you aware of your lackadaisical attitude
toward posting rules.

Many distros work fine and have comprehensive application suites in
them. Does MS come with any? I think not.
There are also many apps out there in use in windows that started in
Linux. They got ported to windows due to popularity. Imagine that...
an app so popular with the Linux crew that the windows crew just had
to have it...

Do what you wish, but your assessments are as lame as your ability
to observe is.

No, they aren't. They are just computer professionals centered on
different technology, just like the rest of us. Well... most of us.
You would be excluded.

Top posting in Usenet IS bad. This ain't a chat forum, and Outhouse
Express sucks as a news client. Top posting is bad. Get it through
your head. Bone up, dude. You are behind the times. I'd also say
that it is you that is the pompous ass in the matter.

Its typical that microshaftees are running riot in newsgroups
to drum up business for failing windope products.
If someone came to me with purchase orders for microshat stuff,
I'm just going to tell them to get lost now because I can't justify it
coming out of my budget when there is so much open source
software awailable such as Open Office. I'm going do my management
thing and tell them to get by with what they got available and stop asking
for things that create paperwork or make demands of my budget.
With some 300 liveCDs out there as well, (http://www.livecdlist.com/ )
I'm not going to authorize any more funding for new projects that
require microshaft involvement, and instruct my staff to
study liveCD based products and fit applications around such
technologies.
I'll have you know, its all because of microshaft funding
people like these terrible conceited fools that just can't sell
microshaft products in a convincing enough way for me to
ever want to buy them things any more.

This I have to agree with. At least for desktops. The shell has given it
an air of strangeness that easily scares people away. That's why I
didn't start using it years ago.

That would be you, it seems.

Flatfish?

Can't say I've met those.

Righty-o. Unless you live in China, nobody's forcing you to run Linux.

And I will keep riding my bike without my helmet because my reflexes
keep my head from being beat into a pulp if I fall.

Well, when you post a dumb-ass post like yours, Troll, you get what you
deserve.
I have an couple of MSCE's and I run Linux. The only thing I can see is
that MS products are better for people who don't really know how to, or
WANT to know how to run a computer.
It wasn't always Plug and Play; it wasn't even Plug and Pray; there were
PLENTY of configuration and hardware issues in DOS, Windows 3 and NT; so
much so that I made a comfortable living at it.
So, if you want to stop acting like a Pompous Asshole, maybe someone can
help you run Linux. Otherwise, go back to your Windows groups.
