Maytag washer water pump squealing coloradotrout 09-23-2009

Water pump is squealing.
It works -- no leaks yet.
New pump is $60
Should I leave it alone? Can a bearing be replaced? I tore into it a
bit, but stopped at the torx screw in the middle of the pump wheel.

Replace it. You don't have the right tools to service it.
