Ok, I know it doesn't apply to home repair, but it does affect our
daily life.

Remember not that many years back, all the talk was about CFC's & the
hole in the ozone layer? You never hear much about it anymore. Now
all the talk is about the antartic ice cap melting due to global
warming. Well, guess what! It now appears that the melting ice cap
and weather patterns will be adversely influenced by the shrinking of
the ozone hole. Do we get to have our cake & eat it too?

Hmmm,
Add to that increased level of CO2.

There is an interesting opposing view of "global warming" on youtube. Guy's
name is Robert Carter and he says we're in a holocene optimum period. He
says the cold days are coming.. it's a 4 part series that takes about 30
min to watch in total.

Oh, bother!

CO2 levels are in the neighborhood of 0.02-0.03% of the atmosphere. Three
one-hundredths of one percent!

As for global warming, since the globe hasn't warmed in the last six years,
the term "global warming" has lost its cache amongst the
chicken-little-was-right crowd. The approved lingo is now "climate change."

Remember, a mass movement can exist without a god, but it will fail without
a devil. A mass movement MUST have something to hate.

Anyway, I think "global warming" was caused by the AIDs quilt...

I would have expected you to blame it on the anti-nuclear gay whales ...
